Based in Birmingham, Alabama, Winston Ramble is a homegrown, acoustic, folk-rock band. With members originally hailing from the free state of Winston County, AL, the band aims to interject the raw expression of rock-n-roll into the feel-good vibes of acoustic music. The sound of an old southern soul hits you right out of the gate. Drew “Ben” Benefield’ s vocals are soulful and still gritty. Combine that with some mandolin twang and church-like harmonies and you’ll probably be left feeling like you’re listening to a mix between a classic rock band and a gospel bluegrass quartet.

Jun 30 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

You’ll rarely see Carly Burruss without heels and a bandana tied around her neck. Her sassy but sweet music is a taste of old-school country with wit, humor and grit. Her debut, self-titled album features catchy commentary on stubborn joy, female independence, strong faith and big hair.
Carly currently is touring the Southeast and has appeared onstage with Dwight Yoakam, Keith Urban, Ellie Holcomb, Old 97’s, The Band of Heathens and Will Hoge.

Jul 7 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

On its surface, Emma’s Lounge is a “space age folk wave” band from Asheville, NC. But it’s more than that.

Emma’s Lounge is a place where you can show up as you are, sink into and embrace what you’re facing through dancing out all of the heebie jeebies to releasing some tears of angst or joy, to singing at the top of your lungs, to reaching over and holding your neighbor’s hand just to feel the connection. Emma’s Lounge is a community where the love flows for music and each other.

Jul 14 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

International award-winning songwriter, Jason McKinney partners with Barry Strauser and Billy Wright once again for his fifth release to create the EPs’ vibrant character and musical excellence. Their dynamic partnership has earned the band a top 10 hit in Texas, an international Armed Forces tour later this year, and worldwide recognition. Together in this new project, they leave a collective signature on the songs that is unmistakable.

Jul 21 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Founded and fronted by singer-guitarist Sean Walsh, The National Reserve mine an archetypal musical seam, marrying gutbucket R&B, Laurel Canyon lyricism, New Orleans funk workouts, late night soul, and boozy rock ‘n’ roll to create their own timeless brand of American music. Songs like “Found Me A Woman” and the indelible title track reveal a gifted new tunesmith while masterfully reminding one and all of the simple beauty of a great American bar band – two guitars, organ, bass and drums rocking out in the corner, singing their songs to soundtrack the night. The National Reserve is now planning to bring all the fun and fire of their fervent Friday night sets to the rest of the world, eager to pack as many folks into their late-night scene as possible.

Jul 28 @ 7:00 pm – 10:00 pm

Charlotte’s The New Familiars have grown into an Americana Rock fixture in the southeast playing their own style of “American Rock & Roll” for years now. Drawing from the vast influences, they’ve shaped a sound that combines the nitty-gritty roots music of the Appalachia with the guitar-drenched-drum-driven anthems of Rock & Roll. Through collective songwriting, howling harmonies, & multi-instrumental talent, their show can take you from a back porch hoe-down to a full on rock show at the change of an instrument.

Making the road their home, their high energy shows have gained them notoriety not only in the press, but also among their peers. The band has been paired with legendary artists like Levon Helm, Del McCoury, and Gregg Allman; as well as new school greats like The Infamous Stringdusters, Langhorne Slim, and Scythian. Known to be a group of fun loving guys, their musicianship has wooed the likes of Ronnie McCoury (Travelin’ McCourys), Johnny Neel (Allman Brothers Band), Bob Margolin (Muddy Waters) and John Cowan (New Grass Revival/Doobie Brothers) to join them on stage for some epic nights of picking and grinning. In 2012, they were asked to perform at the Democratic National Convention and then later asked to open for Vice President Biden on his trip to Charlotte.

Ever the freedom seekers, the band has remained independent of labels and management as they’ve navigated their way through the festival, theatre, and club scene nationwide. They’ve played some of the best music festivals in the country.
